The Super Mario Galaxy film is a direct continuation of 2023’s Super Mario Bros. Movie, featuring the same principal cast of Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek. No narrative information has been disclosed so far, but a recent leak hints that Yoshi and Bowser Jr. are joining the cast and that the Cosmic Observatory setting from Super Mario Galaxy will be featured in some capacity.

Super Mario Galaxy Movie is set to grace theaters on April 3, 2026.
