It ought to be with us in a fortnight!
Last week, we pointed out how Silent Hill 2 was rated for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in the US, suggesting that it would finally be arriving on Xbox just over a year after its release on PS5 and PC, and now a launch date has also surfaced.
The team at True Achievements has discovered an obscure Xbox Store page for Silent Hill 2 that cites a launch date of November 21st, 2025 on the backend. It will be offered in Standard and Deluxe versions, along with a Silent Hill F bundle.
Here’s a glimpse of the store page that isn’t currently visible to the public:
As noted, Silent Hill 2 initially launched for PS5 and PC in October of 2024, acting as a remake of the 2001 edition. It garnered outstanding reviews universally, including at our sister site Push Square (they rated it a 9/10).
There have been speculations that an Xbox Partner Preview event will take place sometime this month, so perhaps this is where Silent Hill 2 will receive its formal announcement for Xbox. In any event, we shouldn’t be waiting too much longer.
