Is Crash finally making a comeback?
Crash Bandicoot hasn’t been seen for some time, but enthusiasts believe they may have noticed something hinting at a new gaming endeavor or at least a revival in some manner or fashion.
This news emerges from the official Beenox social media profile. For those who need a reminder, Beenox is the same crew that contributed to Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled and also assisted with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
Earlier this week, the developer posted a banner featuring Crash in a kart only to remove it shortly thereafter. What’s intriguing about this is that it seems to be derived from Crash’s character model from the fourth installment – a game that arrived long after the latest racing title.
That’s all for now, but if any noteworthy updates or news arise here, we will keep you informed.
Interestingly, this follows a speculation in October regarding Crash Bandicoot potentially receiving his own animation on Netflix. If you missed it, it’s alleged that WildBrain Studios – the same team behind Sonic Prime (and also aiding with the forthcoming Minecraft animated series on Netflix) is involved. Additionally, 2026 will commemorate Crash’s 30th anniversary.
At this moment, the ongoing narratives about Crash Bandicoot are merely speculations – so nothing has been officially verified or announced, and there’s no assurance this revelation will lead to a new project, announcement, or update.
What would you like to see next from Crash? Have you experienced Crash 4 and Crash Team Racing? Share your thoughts in the comments.
