Seven Xbox Games Are Shutting Down Their Servers In November & December 2025

Revision: Perhaps now nine?

Revision []: An update from an EA employee on the official EA Sports WRC discord server indicates that both DiRT 4 and DiRT Rally may be disabling their online servers on November 8th as well.

Additionally, a new removal has been confirmed in the shape of Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, which will no longer be available for purchase on Xbox or any other platform after November 15th.

Initial Report: It’s that moment again! As the new month begins, we thought it might be worthwhile to provide you with an updated list of all the Xbox games that are set to deactivate their servers in the forthcoming months.

Here’s a list of the Xbox games ceasing their server operations in November and December 2025:

The four Xbox 360 racing games stand out as the most significant closures, which we initially brought to your attention at Pure Xbox back in September. The two Dirt and two Grid games are still functioning online for now (not that many are actively playing them online anymore), but EA’s server closure webpage states they will be discontinued as of November 8th.

The server shutdown for PUBG: Battlegrounds only applies to the Xbox One and PS4 versions, as the game shifts to a current-gen edition on the same day (November 13th). Xbox users will obtain access to the Series X and Series S version via Smart Delivery, although the game will no longer be playable on last-gen consoles natively.

Lastly, we have NBA 2K24 and the PAC-MAN battle royale title – the latter has already been removed ahead of its server shutdown, while NBA 2K24 might receive an extension but is presently designated to go offline on December 31st.

Alongside all of these, we know that Surviving Mars is being delisted with the advent of its new “Relaunched” edition on November 10th, and the 2D platformer Basureroes will be taken down on December 5th. You may also be aware of the delisting of the Xbox 360 title Condemned: Criminal Origins – we are still seeking clarification on why that title has vanished!
