Physint, OD Teams Are Staffing Up for Development of Anticipated Games
Kojima Productions in a recruitment initiative

Kojima Productions seems poised for a hiring surge in the forthcoming months, as it is promoting a variety of roles for its impending endeavors in OD and Physint.
The studio is showcasing vacancies across its programming, artistic, administrative, localization, audio, marketing, and writing divisions in Tokyo, Japan. More specifically, the organization is looking to employ animators, character artists, game designers, game programmers, recording engineers, and a multitude of other roles.
Confirming that the roles are linked to OD and Physint, the Kojima Productions social media account stated: “KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS is seeking new talent! If you’re keen to be part of the development for our new projects “OD” and “PHYSINT,” please follow the link below.”
No release date has been associated with either endeavor, although OD is anticipated to launch prior to Physint. The former has been in development for several years, with horror filmmaker Jordan Peele involved with the game. Most recently, the “Knock” trailer was unveiled, reaffirming the title’s ongoing development.
Currently, OD is confirmed solely for Xbox Series X|S; however, considering Microsoft’s pivot to third-party publishing, a PS5 adaptation seems plausible.
On the other hand, Physint is presumed to be considerably further away — possibly a PS6 title. It marks Hideo Kojima’s return to the Metal Gear Solid-esque gameplay he once innovated at Konami, and all that exists is a poster (included in the tweet above) and some confirmed character castings.
Charlee Fraser (Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga), Don Lee (Train to Busan), and Minami Hamabe (Godzilla Minus One) are set to feature in the game.
Back in August, Hideo Kojima mentioned he was the sole individual developing Physint, as it remained in the “conceptual phase.” In the upcoming months, at least, it appears he will be getting some assistance on the project.
