Poll: A Few Weeks On, What Review Score Would You Give Keeper?

One of the most fascinating Xbox launches in October was Double Fine’s new indie puzzle expedition referred to as Keeper, which notably had minimal promotion prior to its release, and for understandable reasons – it has a few surprises in store!

We’ve endeavored to refrain from discussing those surprises and will maintain that stance, but this still appears to be an opportune moment to collect some review ratings from the Pure Xbox community in the hopes that you’ve had the opportunity to reach its conclusion.

For what it’s worth, I personally assigned Keeper a “Great” 8/10 in our Pure Xbox review and had the following remarks:

“Keeper is a challenging game to rate, and I believe certain aspects warrant a 7/10 while others merit an 8/10. I’m opting for the latter since, regarded as a whole, Keeper is a very delightful, well-crafted, and unforgettable game with breathtaking visuals, and it’s evident that the development team invested considerable effort into it. Some individuals may inevitably be disheartened by its gradual and nuanced narrative, along with its overall lack of difficulty and a first half that doesn’t measure up to the second half, but I still believe it deserves classification as a “Great” game, and it’s definitely worth a download on Xbox Game Pass.”

I certainly sensed that some individuals might disconnect from Keeper quite swiftly, while others would discover it to be a genuinely enchanting and memorable experience, and it appears that has held true – there are many varied reactions circulating on social media and the Xbox Store.
