Level-5 is commemorating its 27th anniversary tomorrow (28th October), and to celebrate the event, company president Akihiro Hino has released a delightful piece of new birthday artwork.

The artwork features characters from Layton, Inazuma Eleven, DECAPOLICE, Fantasy Life, and even Holy Horror Mansion — about which we still lack substantial details. It does not depict any Yo-Kai Watch, but let’s be realistic, we’re not magicians…

“We have numerous new advancements in store for the future,” Hino penned in the illustration’s caption (translated via Google), “so we hope you will keep supporting us.”

Following the impressive launch of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time earlier this year, the upcoming Level-5 title we can anticipate is Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, which should finally debut on Switch and Switch 2 on 14th November. Both Professor Layton and The New World of Steam and DECAPOLICE have been postponed until 2026, so we will need to wait a bit longer to experience either of them.

After that, we can look forward to the remade Inazuma Eleven RE and what Holy Horror Mansion ends up being. In brief, it appears Level-5 plans to be around for the foreseeable time. Let’s just hope the quality remains consistent.
