Reminder: Room For More Pokémon? A New Horizons Series Arrives On iPlayer Today

Update []: We anticipate that a considerable number of fellow Pokémon enthusiasts will have completed Legends: Z-A by this point, but October is not finished yet! More ‘mon content (‘montent‘?) is making its way to the UK today, as the latest installment of the Pokémon Horizons anime has premiered on BBC iPlayer.

The Pokémon Company disclosed this release date a few weeks prior, but with the influx of other Poké updates since then, we felt it necessary to send you all a brief reminder.

You can find the initial 11 episodes of the new series, ‘Rising Hope’, available on iPlayer right now, or tune in for a new episode at 5:10pm GMT on Mondays-Thursdays on CBBC.

Original Story: Not satisfied with just launching a new main series game and tickets for the upcoming pop-up shop in October, The Pokémon Company is introducing even more monster-catching experiences to the UK in the upcoming weeks with a new series of the Pokémon Horizons anime.

Part one of the third season, entitled ‘Rising Hope’, will be available on BBC iPlayer on 27th October, with additional episodes coming in the future. Viewers in the US will have to wait a bit longer for its regional launch on Netflix on 6th January 2026.

Here’s an official overview of what we can look forward to in this third season:

It has been a year since the occurrences in Laqua left the Rising Volt Tacklers without a leader and a clear direction, but a mysterious pink mist that endangers Pokémon drives Liko and Roy to action! Both Trainers have gained self-assurance and power alongside their Pokémon, including Roy’s latest companion, a yellow Lucario capable of Mega Evolution. They are accompanied by Dot, a data-collection specialist, and Ult, a bold young Trainer who views Roy as his rival. Eager to restore the Rising Volt Tacklers and honor a vow made in Laqua, Liko, Roy, and their companions are training more rigorously than ever as they confront the Explorers and carve out a new course!

As a reminder, Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be available before all of that, with both the Switch 1 and Switch 2 editions launching next week on 16th October.

Will you be watching the new anime series later this month? Share your thoughts in the comments.
