Alongside Halo Studios’ first unveiling of Halo: Campaign Evolved today, the group has also released a comprehensive 13-minute demonstration of the series’ legendary The Silent Cartographer level – which you can view in all its splendor through the link above.
This prolonged gameplay segment from Halo: Campaign Evolved provides us with a genuine look at the game’s enhanced technology; entirely reconstructed using Unreal Engine 5. The team emphasizes that this demonstration is “captured from a pre-release build on Xbox Series X” – so please keep that in mind.

Regarding that note on a pre-release version, you can distinctly observe some artifacting in both the initial cutscene and during various parts of the mission overall – so this is indeed work-in-progress gameplay. Still, it’s wonderful to receive such a significant announcement paired with proper extended footage rather than just a teaser trailer!
