Arriving on PS5 in 2026
Denshattack made a significant splash when it was revealed at Gamescom in August, and it continues to appear extraordinarily entertaining in its most recent gameplay video.
It resembles a long-forgotten PS2 title that would have been celebrated as a niche favorite:
You control a train through various stages, only you’re speeding along and executing stunts as if it’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.
Some stages will focus on velocity, others on tricks and achieving high scores, and some will even feature confrontations against outrageous bosses.
It has a fantastic aesthetic as well — it boasts a vivid art style, evidently influenced by manga and Japanese culture at large.
We tried hands-on with it briefly at Gamescom and walked away impressed — you can find our complete opinions here.
The trailer further indicates that the game is expected to launch in Spring 2026, so it isn’t too distant either. Are you looking forward to Denshattack? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
