All the speculations and leaks indicate as much

Along with the initial wave of Season 1 material, it’s widely assumed that the Battle Royale feature for Battlefield 6 will debut on 28th October as well, in a surprise drop launch.
This mode was hinted at during the major unveiling of the game, but no specific date was provided for its launch. For weeks, there have been whispers that it would arrive together with the commencement of Season 1, and now Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming has shared this on social platforms:
“I can now confirm that Battlefield 6 Battle Royale is indeed set to shadowdrop on October 28th.” This follows earlier claims by other insiders datamining the Battlefield 6 client to uncover lines of code linking the Battle Royale mode to a launch on Tuesday.
Until the surprise drop takes place officially, what we do know is that Battlefield 6 will be enlarged for free in Season 1 with several content additions each month until December. On 28th October, a new multiplayer battleground and an extra mode will be available, along with additional weapons, accessories, and a new vehicle. With a Battle Royale mode apparently set to be included, this appears to be a significant upgrade for the recent PS5 launch.
