Dotemu has at last disclosed that the eagerly awaited beat ’em up MARVEL Cosmic Invasion will launch on Switch and Switch 2 on 1st December 2025. Furthermore, it has unveiled two new characters joining the lineup.
In addition to announcing the release date, the brand new trailer also provides our initial glimpse at Iron Man and Phoenix, the final two combatants in the game’s 15-hero roster. Spectacular Spider-Man‘s Josh Keaton will contribute his voice to Tony Stark, whereas Bayonetta 3‘s Jennifer Hale will voice Jean Grey — the same role she reprised in X-Men ’97.
Indeed, these were the two characters discovered in an earlier datamine from the game’s Steam demo, yet it’s still thrilling to witness them in action. Here’s a more detailed look at the newest duo:
With these two additions, the complete launch character lineup is as follows:
- Captain America
- Wolverine
- Spider-Man
- Storm
- Phyla-Vell
- Venom
- Nova
- She-Hulk
- Rocket Raccoon
- Silver Surfer
- Beta Ray Bill
- Black Panther
- Cosmic Ghost Rider
- Iron Man
- Phoenix
This is a solid ensemble, and each new trailer further captivates us with the beat ’em up action — if Shredder’s Revenge serves as any indication, we are in for a delight.
