By The Baltimore Ravens have stumbled to a 1-5 beginning this NFL season, and the coaching team is seemingly taking actions to aid in reversing the trend, which includes eliminating specific items from the locker area to assist players in concentrating.
As per reports, a collection of recreational items–such as video games, cornhole boards, a ping pong table, and a basketball hoop–have been temporarily taken out of the team locker room.
Writer Sam Cohn of The Baltimore Sun noted that some Ravens players thoroughly enjoyed engaging in Super Smash Bros. in the locker room, with teammates gathering around to observe, but that’s ending for the time being. Players communicated to The Sun that the coaching team aimed to eliminate distractions for the athletes.
The video games were evidently removed after the Ravens commenced the season 1-3, and since that point, the Ravens have dropped two additional matches to plummet to 1-5.
“The only scenario worse is 0-6, so indeed, it’s a major deficit. We’re going to need to rebound,” center Tyler Linderbaum stated. “We have 11 games remaining to attempt to win out.”
The Ravens will take the field again this Sunday, October 26, at home against the 4-2 Chicago Bears.
