In anticipation of its Halloween event launching later this week, on October 23rd, Marvel Rivals has presented us with a gameplay trailer filled with zombies.
This marks the first time the free-to-play game has ventured into co-op PvE, where squads of heroes are assigned to eliminate waves of undead foes while achieving specific goals.
As you advance, you’ll have the opportunity to acquire ‘blessings’ — passive enhancements that will aid you in surviving each session. Additional difficulty tiers will also become available, likely turning quite ruthless as time progresses.
No official statement has been made regarding the conclusion of this limited-time event, although players are already urging for it to remain for much longer than just a couple of weeks. We speculate that developer NetEase Games will monitor the mode’s player activity closely.
