Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 18-19)

Ready for a lighthouse excursion?

Greetings to another weekend! It’s a significant one in the Xbox community with the first-party release Keeper and the ROG Xbox Ally now accessible to everyone; it’s safe to mention we’ve been investing time into both of these experiences lately and will persist in doing so in the upcoming days.

Here’s all that we are engaging with this weekend:

Ben Kerry, Staff Writer

After receiving feedback from Fraser on how enjoyable and relaxing Keeper is, I’m planning to fit in some Double Fine fun this weekend. It appears to be the perfect type of game for a Sunday afternoon, so I’ve scheduled that for tomorrow.

Additionally, I have another title on my agenda for this weekend that I cannot disclose just now, and knowing my tendencies, the charm of large-scale multiplayer chaos in Battlefield 6 will surely be beckoning me at some point. So many games, so little time—but I’ll get there!

Have a fabulous weekend, everyone.

Fraser Gilbert, Editor

I have a rather hectic weekend (and a couple of weeks) approaching, so I likely won’t be playing much. I completed Keeper for our review on Friday, but didn’t have the chance to engage with Battlefield 6 as a consequence – so that’s probably my main gaming focus right now. I’m eager to discover what the buzz is all about!

Aside from that, I’ve only dipped my toes into Devolver Digital’s Ball x Pit on Xbox Game Pass. I adore the ball-busting style of gameplay, and I can envision myself becoming quite hooked to it.

Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend!

When he’s not gripping an Xbox controller as if his life relies on it, Ben spends his time listening to music that’s far too vintage for him, watching football on the screen, and likely dining somewhere.
