Football Manager Signs With FIFA In New “Multi-Year Partnership”

“Elevating genuineness to genuinely worldwide levels”

The Football Manager franchise has secured a “multi-year alliance” with the international football governing entity FIFA.

This agreement will introduce official licenses from FIFA’s events to the enduring football management franchise by Sports Interactive. This will encompass the forthcoming FIFA World Cup 26, which is set to occur in Canada, Mexico, and the USA next year.

Branded and designated FIFA events will officially commence in FM26, featuring not only the World Cup but also the Women’s World Cup and the Club World Cup.

“We can disclose that for the FIFA World Cup 26 – the 23rd and most extensive version in tournament history – the official uniforms of all 48 teams will be featured in FM26 when they become available alongside broadcasting graphics and tournament branding.”

Moreover, this license aligns with the introduction of a “playable, refreshed international Management module” in a content update scheduled for next year for FM26 and FM26 Touch prior to the World Cup. FM26 Touch is slated to launch digitally for Nintendo Switch on 4th December 2025.

This announcement follows the cancellation of Football Manager 25 earlier this year. FIFA and EA also previously concluded a long-term partnership.
