The Amazon-exclusive collector’s edition of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 arrives just in time for the festive season. Amazon has refreshed its store page with a November 27 launch date for the $60 Mirror Edition. Currently available for preorder now on PS5 and Xbox Series X, Clair Obscur’s Mirror Edition includes a physical copy of the popular turn-based RPG, an exclusive steelbook case, collectible cards, and a tuck box featuring new artwork.

Unveiled in August, the Mirror Edition is priced at just $10 more than the standard version, which continues to be a best-seller for PS5 on Amazon nearly six months following Clair Obscur’s April debut.

The Mirror Edition isn’t the only upcoming retailer-exclusive edition available for preorder. GameStop’s Lumiere Edition for PS5 is set to be released again on November 11. Exclusive to PS5, the Lumiere Edition is priced at $70 and features a steelbook case, a 48-page art book, and the Digital Deluxe Edition DLC costumes.
Sandfall Interactive’s inaugural game has turned out to be a significantly larger success than anyone could have anticipated. In fact, it currently boasts a 92 on Metacritic from critics—including a 9/10 from GameSpot—and a 9.6/10 user rating. It previously held the premier position on Metacritic for 2025, but it has since been overtaken by Hades II and both Zelda titles on Switch 2. You might contend, however, that Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom don’t necessarily count,
and Hades II initially debuted in early access in 2024. Thus, Clair Obscur and Blue Prince remain the leading games that no one had experienced prior to 2025. Interestingly, Blue Prince will have a physical edition for PlayStation 5 on November 21.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – Mirror Edition

The Mirror Edition is only $10 more than the standard version—and $10 less than GameStop’s Lumiere Edition. Unlike the Lumiere, the Amazon-exclusive Mirror Edition is available for both PS5 and Xbox Series X. Here’s what you will discover inside the package:
- Physical copy of the base game
- Exclusive Steelbook featuring Verso and Alicia character artwork
- Mirror Edition tuck box
- 3 collectible trading cards
There are a total of 10 trading cards, necessitating the purchase of at least four Mirror Editions—and probably more—to obtain all the cards. It may seem excessive, but you can gift the Mirror Edition to friends this holiday season. Just remember to take the cards out of the boxes before wrapping!
A side note: It’s essential to mention that Little Nightmares 3 also features an Amazon-exclusive Mirror Edition; originally set to launch alongside the standard and Deluxe Editions on October 10, it has been delayed to October 31. Amazon has recently restocked preorders for all three console platforms.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Lumiere Edition for PS5
The GameStop-exclusive Lumiere Edition is exclusively offered for PS5 in the United States. The forthcoming reprint is expected to be available on November 11.
Similar to Amazon’s version, this package includes a unique steelbook case. PlayStation 5 players must choose whether they would rather have a mini art book along with in-game cosmetic items or three collectible trading cards plus an additional $10 in savings.

Clair Obscur is also accessible on Xbox and PC Game Pass. It’s a title compatible with Xbox Play Anywhere, hence Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can transfer their saves between PC and Xbox and vice-versa.
