Well, true to form, this industry just continues to advance – and today, The Game Awards presenter Geoff Keighley has disclosed the date for their Summer Game Fest 2026 showcase.
Indeed, the unofficial substitute for E3 will hold its opening showcase on Friday, June 5th, 2026. Keighley mentions fans can anticipate “a magnificent, cross-platform showcase of what’s next in gaming”, with public tickets for the occasion going on sale next spring.
There’s a venue alteration next year too, with Summer Game Fest 2026 occurring at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Following the fest’s June 5th live showcase, you can expect numerous hands-on impressions for forthcoming games to be shared as journalists and critics gather in LA.
