With this thought in mind, Time Magazine’s online platform has included the Switch 2 in its “top inventions” list for 2025. This compilation showcases 300 of the “top inventions enhancing the world, making it smarter, and more enjoyable”, featuring categories such as robotics, accessibility, applications and software, and artificial intelligence.
The Switch 2 is categorized under ‘Entertainment & Gaming’, focusing on transforming how “we play, create, and engage with content”. Another significant device listed here is the ROG Xbox Ally X. “The original Nintendo Switch redefined the standards for portable gaming. Its sequel in 2025 boosts performance without compromising portability.
