Battlefield 6 has arrived – after years of anticipation, EA’s major FPS franchise has triumphantly returned on Xbox Series X and S. We’ve noticed considerable excitement for this one from all parts of the web already — including within the comments here at Pure Xbox — and we’re curious if you’ve been impacted by the Battlefield allure and are playing this weekend.
As we’ve stated previously, we’re deeply engaged with this game over the coming days. The campaign is complete for us, and we’re currently testing the entire multiplayer suite before providing our final assessment. Some initial reviews are already in, and early signs look quite favorable for Battlefield 6.
Although BF6 isn’t on Xbox Game Pass at its debut, Ultimate members enjoy a launch discount courtesy of EA Play. Subscribers receive 10% off automatically — reducing the game price to $62.99 / £62.99 at release — which is a lovely treat if you’re eager to secure the game quickly and prefer digital purchases. We suspect there might be some spontaneous buying action happening over this weekend!
