We were already aware that Zangief would be receiving his Outfit 4 as part of the upcoming major Street Fighter 6 update, launching on 15th October. (Which additionally features C. Viper as a new DLC combatant.)
However, Mech Zangie-F truly didn’t have to go this extravagant. He seems like a fusion of the Russian grappler and Jack-8 from Tekken 8.
Clearly, there’s not really much else to contribute to this narrative, but we believe Capcom merits commendation for its outfits.
They are being released at a slower pace than we’d personally prefer, but it invests significant effort into these designs. We can undoubtedly envision Mech Zangie-F making a return in the future.
Will this fresh appearance motivate you to finally master Zangief in Street Fighter 6? He’s a challenging character to grasp, yet a lot of enjoyment.
