The Outer Worlds 2 stirred some excitement among enthusiasts when it was initially priced at $80 upon release. Microsoft later revised the price to $70, but for those keen on spending a little more, a selection of extravagant Outer Worlds 2-themed Xbox controllers is on the horizon.

Microsoft has revealed that gamers can now acquire controllers featuring The Outer Worlds 2’s Moon Man and artwork from the game. However, the most captivating aspect of these controllers is that fans can personalize the designs through Xbox Design Lab. For instance, players can opt for metallic D-Pads and triggers, or choose rubber grips for the sides and back.

Two distinct controllers are up for grabs. The standard Xbox wireless controller will retail for $95, while the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is priced at $185. The Elite variant boasts additional features, such as optional back paddles, thumbsticks with adjustable resistance, and a shorter hair-trigger lock. While those controllers are not inexpensive, they certainly align with what the game’s Earth Directorate would launch into the cosmos.

Earlier this year, Obsidian Entertainment unveiled the companion characters in The Outer Worlds 2, while emphasizing that romantic involvement will be absent in the game. Obsidian has recognized that the developers from Halo Studios provided their assistance and help on the project. The studio also showcased that the sequel will enable players to alternate between first-person and third-person perspectives at will.

The Outer Worlds 2 will launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 29, and it will be available as a day-one Game Pass Ultimate title.
