“I am Steve”

SEGA appears determined to provide Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds enthusiasts with numerous incentives to launch the game.

Following closely on the heels of last week’s Hatsune Miku Festival – where players could unlock a range of themed items inspired by the Vocaloid icon – the publisher revealed that Steve and Alex, along with others from Minecraft, will be available at the starting line on October 8th.

You’ll need to possess the Season Pass – included with the Digital Deluxe Edition – to access these characters, but everyone will have the chance to engage in the Minecraft Festival beginning October 9th.

Some fans contend that these promotional events may be occurring a touch too swiftly.

Nonetheless, it’s evident that SEGA plans to invest a significant amount of post-launch energy into its kart racer, with Pac-Man, Mega Man, and others soon to arrive.

We hope the game performs well enough to warrant a second Season Pass, as there are a plethora of additional characters we’d love to see introduced.

Regardless, we’re enjoying the game tremendously, and believe it’s a fantastic alternative to Mario Kart World, which, of course, isn’t available on PlayStation at all.
