Arms! Narrative! Battle tests!

Ninja Gaiden 4 Isn't Even Out on PS5 Yet, But Here's Its DLC 1

The character action title Ninja Gaiden 4 will not debut until later this month, yet Xbox Game Studios has already revealed the initial DLC for it.

This is likely because individuals who pay for the Deluxe Edition or Deluxe Edition Upgrade will have access to the new material when it launches in early 2026.

So, what does it involve?

Well, the main enhancement seems to be fresh arms for dual leads Yakumo and Ryu.

During an Official Xbox Podcast, Team Ninja’s Masakazu Hirayama discussed:

“Yakumo’s new arm embodies his character and his method to battle with his expressive skills. Contrarily, Ryu’s arm, as you may infer from the primary visual, has a more accurate appearance and will facilitate performing potent and rapid abilities. Each of these arms will possess its own unique traits and a multitude of mechanics for players to explore. Thus, we invite players to anticipate it.”

There will also be a new narrative set following the events of the primary game, alongside a fresh lineup of battle challenges, distinct from those available from day one.

“There is a wealth of material for players to engage with,” Hirayama concluded. “And we eagerly await sharing more information with players as it comes to light.”

Clearly, it’s improbable we’ll discover more about this DLC until after the launch since all of the team’s focus will be on releasing the game on 21st October.
