It appears we’ve got yet another significant Xbox Game Pass enhancement on the horizon! Microsoft has been actively refreshing all promotional materials for Game Pass over the last 24 hours, and it looks like one particular game has been overlooked.
We’re clearly referring to Mortal Kombat 1, which is featured in a new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate banner that appears in various areas on the Microsoft Store (we’ve observed it in a “Find Your Favourite” campaign).

It makes perfect sense for them to include this considering Mortal Kombat 11 has been a part of Xbox Game Pass for several years now and Mortal Kombat 1 essentially reached feature-completion back in May of this year.
There has certainly been some dissatisfaction regarding Mortal Kombat 1 from the dedicated fans, but overall we still believe it’s a very entertaining fighter – making it a superb addition for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
As soon as we (optimistically) learn more about this, we will inform you.
