Justified horror studio Bloober Team is back for vengeance after individuals, years past, were reluctant to place their faith in it with Konami‘s Silent Hill 2 remake. Currently, the Polish studio is not only focused on its reimagining of the original Silent Hill, but also an undisclosed title.
CEO Piotr Babieno and vice president Karolina Nowak reference the two projects in a investor conversation on September 30 (thanks, Resetera). As per the translation from GamesRadar+ powered by DeepL, the Bloober executives clarify that, “We have two first-party production teams; one is engaged in Silent Hill 1, whereas the other has commenced work on an alternate venture.” Its secondary team presently has five projects in progress.
While this statement may lend credence to a developer Dusk Golem’s recent assertion that Bloober has been engaged in its Silent Hill remake for at least the last three years, Bloober does not clarify how advanced it is in production to its investors.

Actually, it doesn’t mention Silent Hill 1 again for the remainder of its investor conversation, although it does address a query concerning a potential bundle arrangement between its eerie time-traveling survival game Cronos: The New Dawn and the upcoming Silent Hill f. Bloober is not making any commitments, but its executives mention they have diverse “cross-promotional” initiatives for Cronos.
Regardless, it’s evident that Bloober – riding its fresh momentum – is already keen to advance to the next venture. In English, the group states that “Cronos is our primary significant IP. The team responsible for it has now begun working on another initiative, but we certainly plan to further develop the IP in the future.”
New fans appear prepared to accompany them.
“Day 1,” asserts one individual regarding the Silent Hill remake on Resetera.
