Romeo Is a Dead Man Gives Wolverine PS5’s Gore a Run for Its Money

Did you assume Marvel’s Wolverine’s newly revealed trailer would be the bloodiest visual you’d encounter this week?

Well, it could claim the top spot, however Romeo Is a Dead Man is putting up a strong competition. The forthcoming PS5 action title has unveiled a brief new trailer for the Tokyo Game Show, dubbed ‘Extremely Bloody Action Buffet’.

To be frank, the trailer doesn’t disclose much that is novel; it showcases a blend of the game’s close-quarter and ranged combat, as well as a few boss encounters, including one massive visage looming over protagonist Romeo Stargazer.

Here’s how the developer Grasshopper outlines the game:

“Romeo alternates between swords and firearms to engage in battle. Eliminate hordes of adversaries that obstruct your path to birth a new kind of gory action, and defeat the menacing space-time criminals that lie in wait. Absorb the blood of your foes to unleash Romeo’s special attack: Bloody Summer, which can shift any scenario in your favor. Romeo’s diverse arsenal can be enhanced and modified as the narrative progresses as he confronts even more formidable opponents.”
