007 First Light has launched a new trailer, verifying Crazy Rich Asians actress Gemma Chan for the title.
The British star will portray Dr. Selina Tan, an eccentric aide to Q, played by Monarch of the Glen’s Alastair Mackenzie, as previously indicated.
Her description states:
“Dr. Selina Tan, portrayed by Gemma Chan, is an exceptionally talented and enthusiastic scholar with expertise in psychology and game theory, whose contribution at MI6 is vital in Bond’s quest to attain the 00 status in 007 First Light.”
Since this is a Bond title, James will require several romantic interests, making it intriguing to see if Tan manages to embody the role of a clumsy scholar who happens to be strikingly beautiful as well.
Additional details will emerge as we approach the game’s release date of 27th March.
