What a Professional

A fresh iteration of the PS5 Pro is allegedly arriving shortly in the European region.
This information comes from a notably trustworthy informant billbil-kun, sharing via Dealabs.
It appears that the new variant (CFI-7121) is merely a slight hardware modification and will probably be almost indistinguishable. It is suggested that the primary significant improvement will be the system’s enhanced energy efficiency.
The Dealabs article states that there won’t be any decrease in SSD storage capacity, nor any other substantial modifications, and its price will stay unchanged as well.

It will be available for purchase in Europe beginning 30th September 2025.
This action would parallel a similar action made by Sony with the standard PS5, though in that instance the SSD storage was actually reduced, from 1 TB to 825 GB. Once more, the article mentions that this will not be the situation with this PS5 Pro revision.
Whether the modified PS5 Pro is set to enter American markets “remains unclear at this moment,” as per the article.
It’s quite common for Sony (or other console producers) to introduce fresh models of existing hardware, primarily to lower energy consumption or make internal adjustments.
Considering billbil-kun’s history of accurate leaks, we believe this is likely true, but we wouldn’t anticipate Sony announcing it with much fanfare. This reworked PS5 Pro will simply substitute the current iteration.
