It’s the most recent title in the EDITIONS collection
Lost in Cult has revealed the forthcoming game in its stunning EDITIONS collection — the series of specially-selected limited editions that debuted back in May. And it features the charming papercraft puzzler, Paper Trail.
Created by Newfangled Games, Paper Trail is an appealing little puzzle adventure where every solution involves folding paper to form pathways and answers. We genuinely adored it when it debuted in May 2024, and we are thrilled to see it receive a rather beautiful limited edition.
Similar to the other EDITION releases, Paper Trail will be accompanied by a bespoke collectible mailer box, a developer interview and essay booklet, slip case artwork from Moy Lee, a stunning poster, a color-themed inner slipcase, four art cards, a certificate of authenticity, and a second poster featuring unique artwork with a checklist on the back.

Pre-orders are currently available, and you can secure this one for £59.99 (or your local equivalent, plus shipping).
Up to this point, EDITIONS has been performing admirably with its fantastic physical versions of popular indie titles. The latest releases, prior to Paper Trail, were Arco and Norco (the latter isn’t available on Switch; we hope it will be one day!). Additionally, the company has consistently dedicated itself to game preservation, collaborating with DoesItPlay.
Marketing Director at Lost in Cult, Ryan Brown, discussed the matter with us, and with the announcement made yesterday, reiterated the commitment that “We test all of our Nintendo Switch physicals on the Switch 2 to ensure they also function correctly there, too” to guarantee that no release necessitates internet access to begin playing.
