Donkey Kong Bananza Version 2.0.1 Is Now Live On Switch 2, Here’s What’s Included

With the recent debut of DK Island & Emerald Rush, Nintendo has now upgraded Donkey Kong Bananza to Version 2.0.1.

This follows the significant 2.0.0 update earlier this month which introduced this premium DLC to the game and also included numerous other modifications. This latest update rectifies multiple issues linked to the prior update and also implements several other alterations to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Donkey Kong Bananza: Ver. 2.0.1 (Launched September 23, 2025)

Resolved Issues

• Rectified an issue where the player was unable to obtain a disc as a reward for gathering all the balloons in Bananza Rehearsal.
  • If the above issue occurs in the game in Ver. 2.0.0 or prior, the player will be able to acquire the disc immediately after the stage begins by entering Bananza Rehearsal following the download of this update data.
• Resolved an issue where some of Pauline’s shout voices would not play when the language setting of the Nintendo Switch 2 system is set to “English (UK/Australia)” and the travel buddy’s voice (Pauline’s voice) in “Options” has its “voice language” designated as “Same as system.”
• Various other modifications have been implemented and issues have been resolved to enhance the gameplay experience.

This recent update for Donkey Kong Bananza follows an update for Mario Kart World today, which advanced the launch title to Version 1.3.0.
