PS5 Treated to an Exclusive Hitman Physical Re-Release, Out in October

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Hitman franchise, IO Interactive has announced it’s putting out another physical version of the PS5, PS4 trilogy — and for some reason, it’s only doing it on PS5.

Now a boxed copy exclusive to Sony’s system, the “25th Anniversary Box” is releasing on 17th October 2025 for £44.99 / $49.99, with pre-orders live now. You get the three games boxed up in a PS5 case with new visuals on the front, along with four pieces of DLC, and a lenticular art card.

Of course, the studio is now knuckling down on 007 First Light after its recent State of Play showcase, but it is good to see the team still pay respects to the series that got it to where it is today. Except for the very first entry in the Hitman series, every other mainline game has made its way to PlayStation, so it has helped form part of the platform’s stealth catalogue, alongside Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid.
