Cruisin’ for a Bruce-in’
One of the most talked-about announcements from this year’s Gamescom was LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a new title from TT Games that’s looking very promising indeed.
It’s gliding onto PS5 in 2026, so there’s still some time to wait until we can all play, but in the meantime, WB Games has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette to enjoy:
Featuring the likes of James Gunn (co-CEO of DC Studios), Jim Lee (DC president), and Jonathan Smith (TT Games dev team head), the video delves into the character of Batman and what makes this new game unique.
Legacy of the Dark Knight is an open world action adventure game in which you can explore Gotham City and fight crime as the Caped Crusader.
What makes it different from previous LEGO Batman games, or any other Batman game really, is how it incorporates story beats and iconic moments from all across the hero’s history. Fans will be able to enjoy nods to the films, the animated TV show, other games, comics, and more.
It’s a fun video that’s well worth a watch if you’re interested in the game. You can read more in our hands-on preview:
