It’s been a couple of days now since EA’s Skate reboot landed on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and the feedback has definitely been “mixed” across basically all platforms (including PS4, PS5 and PC) so far.
Why? Well, the actual skating itself has received positive feedback for the most part, but people are divided about the rest of it – some have criticised the lack of content, while others feel it’s lost its roots and become more like Fortnite.

It feels like there’s a real divide with Skate right now, although some of the clips have certainly been trending on social media this week, and it’s led to over two million people already checking out the game since its launch on Tuesday.
