The Virtual Boy reveal during the latest Direct might have been Nintendo’s most jaw-dropping surprise for Switch Online subscribers.
As if that weren’t plenty for seven days, the team responsible for the breakout indie hit Antonblast has now synchronized its own revelation with that buzz, confirming that an all-new ‘VB mode’ will drop in the forthcoming patch.
The studio’s official briefing on the feature—plus instructions for unlocking it—reads as follows:
Summitsphere: “AND, we’re thrilled to share that a VB filter is coming in the next big ANTONBLAST patch. Snag the Virtual Visor from Brulo’s shop for just 770,000 casino tokens, then toggle the effect whenever you like through the “Goodies” tab in the pause menu. …wait, what?”
