Netflix has locked in the premiere day for the upcoming chapter of The Witcher and served up a fresh glimpse of Geralt of Rivia’s comeback. Something about his appearance feels tweaked, though we can’t quite pin down what.
Hold on—figured it out. Fresh face Liam Hemsworth is finally slipping into the silver-haired mantle vacated by Henry Cavill, swinging a sword at a hellish creature in this just-released teaser. The clip also verifies that Season 4 will land on the streamer 30 October.

The streamer’s official logline teases, “Following the world-shaking fallout of Season 3, Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri are scattered across a war-torn land littered with foes. Their quests pull them apart, yet surprise companions emerge along each road. If the trio can embrace these makeshift families, they may still rendezvous—permanently.”
Though Hemsworth is a newcomer to the Continent, he’ll lean on returning players Freya Allan, Anya Chalotra, and Joey Batey as Ciri, Yennefer, and Jaskier. Injecting extra wattage is Laurence Fishburne, who slips into the role of beloved barber-surgeon Regis and throws in with Geralt’s war band.
Early footage signals Hemsworth is hustling to honor the White Wolf’s mantle and already looks comfortable in the armour. Until the series resurfaces on 30 October, browse our roster of every other screen saga still headed your way in 2025.
