Venturing into the frontier?

Happy fresh weekend! September is well under way, and the marquee titles are beginning to rev up on Xbox—Gearbox’s Borderlands 4 stole the spotlight this past week.
Below is what we’re loading up over the next couple of days:

Even though critics are raving, Borderlands 4 simply isn’t my cup of tea, so I won’t be loot-shooting there this weekend. Instead, I just discovered that the PC chase-’em-up Heading Out has cruised onto Xbox—it’s been on my radar forever, so I’ll grab the console port and take it for a spin.
On top of that, I’ve been touring Australia in Forza Horizon 3 lately and might extend the road trip; I’m hopelessly hooked on speed-running Exit 8—so that’ll gobble more minutes—and I finally nabbed Cronos: The New Dawn. In short, my Xbox will be a buffet of whatever catches my eye!
Enjoy yours, everyone.

I’m set to dive into some indies! I snagged a charming 2D grocery-management sim named Discounty that’s been buzzing lately, so expect me stacking digital shelves for the next 48 hours.
I’m also racing through the Xbox Demo Fest lineup. One standout was Rhythm Towers—I’m sold and will buy on launch—plus a handful I wasn’t sold on. These demos vanish at month’s end, so I’d better hustle.
Have a fantastic break!
