Go give it a spin right now on Switch and Switch 2
Besides Street Fighter 6 landing on Switch 2 this year, Capcom likewise dropped Capcom Fighting Collection 2 just ahead of Nintendo’s new hardware rollout.
During the previous month, the anthology scored a “complimentary game patch” that unlocked extra fighters in Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER and tossed in convenience tweaks, fresh illustrations, and additional arranged tunes. Today, the bundle has received another refresh across every platform (Switch included).
It squashes bugs spanning several titles. Capcom’s official site lays out everything:

Patch Highlights
Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001
- Resolved a glitch preventing Edmond Honda’s victory quotes from sounding in specific win poses.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
- Corrected a problem where M. Bison’s Head Press and Somersault Skull Diver whiffed against Eagle, Maki, Yun, or Ingrid.
- Patched R. Mika’s Sardine Beach Special so it now properly connects with Eagle, Maki, Yun, or Ingrid.
- Eliminated a Versus Mode bug that forced CPU opponents back to Normal style after the player took a round in Classic or Saikyo style.
- Revised select victory lines for Juni.
- Applied assorted minor adjustments.
Project Justice
- Addressed missing voice clips for certain Kurow sound bites.
As a side note, this set already earned Switch 2 support in an earlier patch, arriving in tandem with an update that brought Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection to the new console.
