Forza Horizon 6 Setting Seemingly Leaked Well Ahead of Reveal

Perhaps the long wait is finally over for Japan.

Forza Horizon

Though Playground hasn’t officially lifted the veil on the newest Forza Horizon, a convincing leak may have revealed the sixth outing’s locale long before any presentation.

A vanished Instagram update from vehicle-import firm Cult and Classic claimed a Forza Horizon representative paid them a visit to photograph Kei-class automobiles for the forthcoming title. These pint-sized rides—commonly produced by Honda, Suzuki, and Daihatsu—are practically synonymous with Japanese streets.

“Cody from @ForzaHorizonOfficial is here shooting our cars for the upcoming entry,” wrote the post that was later removed. “Because late-model Kei cars simply don’t exist stateside, he’s flown in from America to scan ours and craft the digital duplicates.” Naturally, the implication is that Forza Horizon 6 will unfold across the Land of the Rising Sun.

Much like the fervent cries for feudal Japan in every Assassin’s Creed wish-list, players have begged the Forza Horizon franchise to visit Japan for ages. With Forza Horizon 5 already confirmed for PS5, odds are the sixth chapter will debut on Sony’s console simultaneously beside Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Phil Spencer earlier this year hinted that the new Forza racer will hit the market in 2026, joining a celebratory lineup for Xbox’s 25th anniversary that includes “a fresh Fable, the upcoming Forza, Gears of War: E-Day, and the revival of a veteran franchise that’s been with us since day one.” That last allusion is rumoured to be Halo, with speculation also swirling that Master Chief’s return will eventually cruise onto PS5.
