It’s no longer shackled to Nintendo’s hybrid console

After launching on the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC, Triangle Strategy has secretly touched down on PS5 today.
Square Enix published this grid-based adventure, which was crafted by the studio responsible for Octopath Traveler. It drew widespread acclaim in 2022 thanks to its gripping narrative, memorable heroes and villains, and battle system that keeps you thinking three turns ahead.
The wait to arrive on Sony hardware was lengthy, but we’ll gladly accept a late arrival over none at all.
If turn-laden classics like Final Fantasy Tactics make your heart sing—and yes, that one is getting a fresh coat of paint next month—Triangle Strategy deserves a spot near the top of your wish-list.
For PS Plus members, the game is temporarily 30 percent cheaper on PlayStation Store until 3 September: £34.99 / $41.99, down from its regular £49.99 / $59.99.
