Show off or take the leap?
Nintendo’s house-made titles keep rolling in, and the one that kicked off August’s duo has raced onto Switch 2. Drag x Drive landed a couple of days ago, and the reaction is split right down the middle.
By fusing wheelchair basketball with the Joy-Con 2’s Mouse Mode, we were pleasantly surprised—PJ even awarded it a solid 7/10. The on-court action is satisfying and unexpectedly layered. Yet beyond online showdowns and a handful of micro-games… content feels thin. Mercifully, the price tag is on the lower end.
As things stand, the title holds a 62 Metascore—filed under “Mixed or Average”—suggesting plenty of players have, for them, simply not scored.
We’re mindful that Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Party Jamboree’s Switch 2 Edition just hit shelves, and Kirby’s Forgotten Land revamp is still inbound—regardless, we suspect some of you have already been wheeling around with buddies. So tell us: where do you land?
