Ready to break out a brand–new Chicken Run romp on Xbox this October?!
You’re in luck—Chicken Run: Eggstraction is en route, and the co-op escapade pledges to deliver “infiltration with a kooky bent.” Translation: slap-dash stealth that has you ducking into bins, sporting traffic-cone disguises, or screaming your tail-feathers off in pure hysterics.
This time the viewpoint is top-down rather than the full 3D playground of the 2000 PS1 original, yet the core loop feels familiar. Your mission? “Creep, dash and dart” across five perilously fortified farms chock-full of brassed-off farmers.
Local co-op is fully supported, so grab a buddy, divvy up the puzzles, and either help them flee the coop—or cackle while you derail their escape entirely. Your choice!
Oh, and the voice talent is positively stacked: The Last of Us standout Bella Ramsey joins YouTuber Amelia Dimoldenberg and British comic Romesh Ranganathan, among others.
Mark your calendar for 24 October 2025 on Xbox. A free demo has already landed on Steam, though Xbox players will have to wait for now.
