The regular G7 Pro sticks to a cable, yet this model cuts the cord completely!
- words by Fraser Gilbert
At the start of this week we dug into critics’ verdicts on GameSir’s freshly launched G7 Pro pad, and we pointed out that a cordless Xbox SKU had been penciled into the roadmap—because the original G7 Pro is strictly tethered for Xbox systems.
Surprise: the cordless model is here! GameSir opened reservations for the pad today; curiously, it presently carries a livery lifted from Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and it’s priced a notch above the corded edition. The original lands at £90 / $79.99, whereas the untethered Xbox flavor demands £109.99 / $99.99.
Every spec appears identical to the G7 Pro—obviously minus the cable and plus real wireless:
Headline perks:
- First-party approved cordless pad for Xbox. Three-flavor connectivity – 2.4 GHz RF & USB-C for Xbox and PC; Bluetooth 5.3 for Android gear.
- GameSir Mag-Res™ TMR sticks: buttery movement and marathon-grade endurance
- Hall-effect analog triggers paired with snappy micro-switch trigger locks
- Internal gyroscope with full remapping support (Windows only)
- Leverage Windows motion-control: assign the gyro to sticks, buttons or mouse pointer for sharper, more natural input.
- Four fully programmable macro paddles for bespoke layouts
- 1 000 Hz polling on PC via cable and 2.4 G link
- Optical micro-switch ABXY cluster plus tactile-mechanical D-pad
- Tri-section magnetic-swappable faceplate with bonus D-pad for easy styling
- Four rumble motors enabling tangible, immersive haptics
- Intelligent charge cradle that pauses and resumes power automatically
- 3.5 mm jack operational over both cable and 2.4 G connections
- Refined companion app so you can fine-tune everything to taste
Pre-orders for the “GameSir G7 Pro WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers Edition | Wireless Controller for Xbox” are live on GameSir’s own storefront; we expect Amazon and other shops to follow shortly.
A heads-up: some outbound links are affiliate links—if you tap them and buy something, we may pocket a slight cut. See our FTC disclosure for full details.
Beneath this block you’ll find extra tidbits and stills pulled from GameSir’s site. One last note: if you pre-order direct, units will leave the warehouse sometime in October.
Meet GameSir’s inaugural wireless pad for Xbox. Forged in official partnership with Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, this cordless G7 Pro inherits every pro perk—drift-proof TMR sticks, Hall-effect triggers with clicky micro-switch stops, four remappable buttons and much more—now with full 2.4 G wireless freedom on Xbox hardware alongside classic wired flexibility.
