DOOM Xbox Controller Drops To Lowest Price Yet At Walmart (US)

Back in April, it was announced that Xbox was getting two new Limited Edition DOOM controllers – one based on the standard Xbox controller design, and another based on the Elite Series 2 controller design.

It’s that first one that’s received a significant price drop at Walmart this week, going from a price of $79.99 back at launch to just $54.00 as things stand. That represents a discount of $25.99, which seems pretty good value to us!

As mentioned, these are advertised as “Limited Edition” Xbox controllers, although a return of the DOOM version was teased as part of Xbox Deslgn Lab’s resurgence last week, so perhaps they’ll be sticking around longer than expected.

For those looking for something similar in the UK, we’ve spotted The Game Collection selling the DOOM controller for £59.95 – so again, this is a significant discount compared to the £74.99 price that you’ll get it for on the Xbox Store (Amazon is also selling it for £56.52 – thanks to PX member ralphdibny for the spot!).
