One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 DLC Revealed Over 5 Years After Launch, Yet Still No PS5 Version 1

Just as anticipated, One Piece Day has outlined fresh DLC for the 2020 brawler One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, yet the publisher has stayed silent on the long-promised PS5 edition.

Character Pass 3 will expand the game’s already sizable cast by six fighters, delivered across two separate drops.

The announced slate looks like this:

DLC Pack #7 (Autumn 2025)

  • Rob Lucci
  • Unrevealed Fighter #1
  • Unrevealed Fighter #2
  • 3x Extra Character Costumes

DLC Pack #8 (Q1 2026)

  • Enel
  • King
  • Z

Buyers of Character Pass 3 will additionally gain the Kamusari move for Shanks in multiple of his alternate outfits.

In short, the content will sail in two waves: DLC Pack #7 docks later this year, with DLC Pack #8 anchoring early next.

The pass itself goes on sale tomorrow, 11th August, though we’ve heard nothing fresh about that previously revealed PS5 upgrade.

Our educated guess is that the new-gen port will arrive alongside Pack #7 this fall, but we’ll reach out to Bandai Namco for clarification.

Elsewhere at One Piece Day, it was confirmed that the spin-off light novel One Piece Heroines—short tales spotlighting female characters from the series—will be adapted into an anime.
