But they’re not Play Anywhere compatible…

Ubisoft has today revealed another batch of games that are now available on Microsoft’s PC storefront, as the Xbox owner continues to improve combability ahead of its upcoming ROG Xbox Ally launch.
Previously, these games would have only been accessible on PC via the likes of Steam or Ubisoft’s own storefront – but they’re now available to buy on the Microsoft Store as well. Here’s the full list of new additions that have landed today:
- Anno 1800
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
- Far Cry 4
- Far Cry New Dawn
- Far Cry Primal
- Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
- Skull & Bones
- Star Wars Outlaws
- Steep
- The Crew 2
- The Crew Motorfest
Now, while this growing Ubisoft games list means that more of the company’s titles will be easily accessible on ROG Xbox Ally via the Microsoft Store, unfortunately, they’re not Xbox Play Anywhere compatible – meaning that if you already own the console versions of these games you’ll have to buy them again on PC.
Still, it’s a decent list now, and having them available directly on the Xbox PC storefront is a welcome move. We’ll chuck a link to the team’s initial 16-strong list down below, which now means that 27 Ubisoft titles can be purchased via the Microsoft Store on PC.
What do you make of these fresh additions? Talk to us about this list down in the comments.
