Time to morph and Fortnite!

After much teasing, the Power Rangers will crash onto Fortnite this Thursday, 7th August.
Whispers of the Rangers invading the free-to-play shooter have floated around for months, but today’s cinematic promo finally locks in the date and details. They’ll arrive amid Chapter 6 Season 4, cheekily subtitled “Shock ’N Awesome.” Oh—and the trailer is jaw-dropping, by the way.
The spot mixes CGI chaos with live-action flair: CGI introduces an army of Bad Bugs that Fortnite cast members are desperately fighting, and then Red, Blue, and Yellow Rangers burst on screen, flipping the aspect ratio to widescreen live action.
Boasting cheese-metal guitars, comic-book explosions, wuxia-style moves, and a banana in a tux—yep, Peely—watching ’90s Mighty Morphin heroes share frames with Fortnite staples is wonderfully weird. If you ever raced home from school to catch the show on TV, you’ll be giddy.
Later in August, the Mighty Morphin Bundle will dock in the Item Shop, letting players scoop Red, Black, Pink, Yellow, and Blue Ranger skins along with classic accessories.
Battle Pass owners can also grind a quest line starting 16th September; finish it all and the Dino Megazord outfit is yours. Mid-season, the Megazord itself will stomp in for a limited-time event.
So for dyed-in-the-wool Ranger diehards, this crossover is basically unmissable. That teaser was strong enough that some of us might already be reinstalling the Switch 2 version—runs smooth, too!
