Rumour: Sony Is Planning To Bring More PS5 Games To Xbox

Yet we remain in the dark about which ones

These are odd, topsy-turvy days, everybody. Just after a Sony career post surfaced asking for a manager to oversee PlayStation’s multi-device catalogue push, whispers now insist that the Japanese gaming giant is gearing up to shift even more of its catalogue to Xbox.

The murmur originates from popular tipster NateTheHate, who plainly declared on social media that “additional Sony titles will hit Xbox, absolutely”. When quizzed on whether this means Sony’s entire roster or merely its ongoing service games, the source replied that they’re “still light on any concrete details”.

NateTheHate later underlined that while the jump is happening, they currently possess zero insight into which particular PlayStation properties will land here, only that fresh software is on the way after the Helldivers 2 reveal. It’s prudent to keep hopes modest, particularly concerning Sony’s crown jewels such as Uncharted, The Last of Us and God of War.

As ever, consider this chatter unfinished business and season it appropriately. Granted, that LinkedIn ad served as rock-solid proof of Sony’s intentions, yet anything spun out of it deserves healthy scepticism. Still, the winds appear to be shifting, and next-gen may look markedly different.

Any reaction to NateTheHate’s remarks? Drop your take in the comments.
