We’re still anticipating Microsoft’s official reveal of the first wave of August 2025 Xbox Game Pass additions (most likely early next week at this point), yet one future launch has already edged its way onto the “Coming Soon” list.
The title in question is named “Herdling,” and it’s scheduled for release on August 21. In this game you’ll “escort a band of enigmatic animals on a heartfelt, scenic trek toward distant peaks and faraway lands.”
Notably, it’s the next endeavor from the studio responsible for the praised indie darlings Far: Lone Sails and Far: Changing Tides. Panic—publisher behind Firewatch, Untitled Goose Game, and more—is handling publication.
