Microsoft has just lifted the curtain on its Gamescom 2025 playbook—the gargantuan gaming expo set to invade Cologne, Germany, next month. The headline: the company is staging two live feeds directly from the Xbox stand, each offering extensive peeks at incoming first- and third-party projects.
Confirmed so far are Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Keeper, Ninja Gaiden 4, and The Outer Worlds 2—plus undisclosed additional titles. Attendees of the streams are promised “opening gameplay footage, sit-downs with creators, fresh trailers, updated details, and more.” These back-to-back broadcasts land on Gamescom week’s Wednesday and Thursday.
Exact streaming windows are:
- Xbox @ Gamescom Broadcast 1: 6 am PT / 9 am EDT / 2 pm BST / 3 pm CEST on Wednesday, August 20th (ROG Xbox Ally handhelds, Grounded 2, Keeper, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and friends).
- Xbox @ Gamescom Broadcast 2: 6 am PT / 9 am EDT / 2 pm BST / 3 pm CEST on Thursday, August 21st (Ninja Gaiden 4, Overwatch 2, The Outer Worlds 2, and further surprises).
Alongside the duo of Xbox streams, Bethesda’s crew will run three full days of its own shows—promising “dev chats, title spotlights, community segments, crafting deep-dives, and on-camera booth tours.” Bethesda’s marathon begins Friday, August 22nd; specific hour-by-hour timings are still to come.
If you’ll be roaming the Xbox corner in-person, Microsoft has also unveiled the initial third-party roster joining the first-party lineup. Expect “a couple extra secrets” beyond this list:
